Dr. Martin Burnett began his
education at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona in
1973.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in
Agricultural Science in 1977 and began teaching Vocational
Agriculture that summer in Yucaipa, California.
Continuing his education he completed his Master's degree in 1980
and moved his family to Camas Valley, Oregon to continue his
teaching career and to raise his three sons in a rural
atmosphere.
In 1980 he resigned from the teaching
position to enter Veterinary School in the Oregon State/Washington
State University programs. Following graduation in 1994, Dr.
Burnett joined the Bailey Veterinary Clinic to pursue the
profession on his childhood dreams.
Dr. Burnett enjoys the rural lifestyle Oregon has offered with room
for his horses, cattle, dogs and cats on the property he and his
wife, Julie reside at in Camas Valley. He enjoys camping, hunting
and fishing when he is not working on his home and property.
